On February 21, 2019 Media Development Foundation held a seminar “Measure the Truth” in Kvareli City’s public school #1.

High school students participating in the seminar got acquainted with methods of verifying fake information through interactive games. The seminar was focused on the importance of critical understanding of the information spread by the media, ways of verifying fake news, photos and videos and means of identifying trolls. During the seminar the participants played a group game “Mediadetector” with cards and online game on verification of fake news - “Measure the Truth and Your Nose!”

The seminar was attended by 28 students from Kvareli public schools.

The event was held within the framework of the project “Media Literacy Youth Lab for Responsible Media Consumption”, supported by the Embassy of the United States of America.
