Open Evidence, the third-place winning team of the Media Development Foundation’s (MDF) Media and Information Literacy Hackathon competition, has developed an embedding model for the automated monitoring of online media. This tool reveals content, performs clustering, and identifies coordinated campaigns.
Their project "Skhivi", within the framework of which the "embedding" model was created, is a news aggregator that compiles articles from over 50 online and print publications.
Based in Tbilisi, the team at Open Evidence aims to conduct comprehensive analyses of public information. The team members who contributed to the winning project of the media literacy hackathon are Konstantine Tsaava, Irakli Janiashvili, and Mariam Lomashvili.
