Fact-Checking Training for ‘Myth Detector’ Lab’s Regional Youth Activists

On November 5-8, 2018, Media Development Foundation held a training for ‘Myth Detector’ Lab’s regional youth activists. The participants learned about the experience of foreign experts in combating misinformation. Bellingcat expert Narine Khachatryan and Ukrainian investigative journalist Artem Babak introduced them to resources and techniques used for journalist investigations and verification of fake news.

The training was attended by 14 participants from Tbilisi and various Georgian regions.

The event was arranged within the framework of the project “Media Literacy Youth Lab for Responsible Media Consumption”, supported by the Embassy of the United States of America.
